A collaborative event between Jazz musician/singer David Paquette and painter Rupert Cefai.

3 consecutive nights of impromptu music and painting. David and Rupert will be performing live, David on his piano and Rupert interpreting David's jazz using paint and canvas

21^st edition

The line-up for the 21st edition of the Malta Jazz Festival, held between the 14^th and 16^th of July at Ta’ Liesse, is probably the most eclectic to date. As in past years, the Festival will showcase the contemporary jazz scene, which this year will focus on the world music element.  Musicians from Brazil, Jamaica, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Africa will be present on the Jazz Festival stage at Ta’ Liesse.

Malta International Fireworks Festival

The 9th edition of the Malta International Fireworks Festival will take place on Friday the 29th and Saturday 30th April 2011. The Valletta Grand Harbour will once again provide the perfect setting for this event. The festival forms part of the 7th anniversary celebrations of Malta's accession to the European Union in 2004.
